Carrots are true Beta-Carotene bombs: 100 grams of carrots contain about 9,5 mg Beta-Carotene, dep. on sort. Therefore they have the highest concentration in Beta-Carotene among vegetables. Daily requirement for women from 19 years: 700 microgram according to DGE.

In the body Beta-Carotene is being transformed to Vitamin A.


Studies prove the efficacy also in cosmetics.

Retinol as a form of Vitamin A is one of the most efficient Anti-Aging products.

Vitamin A is fat-soluble: So enjoy carrots together with a spoonful of oil!


Carrot juice for your complexion? – Yes it works, I tried it! Regular consumption of carrot juice let`s your skin get a bit darker. However it makes it rather an orangy shade than real suntanned 😊At least in my case with a rather fair skin.
